IPCA doctors have finished a novel National Institutes of Health sponsored project (NIH grant R44 NS045361) to develop a continuing education course in Pain Medicine for Primary Care Physicians, in collaboration with Medical Directions, Inc and a panel of nationally recognized pain experts. We hope that the CME will be widely utilized by the Primary Care community for the betterment of pain treatment across the country. Our research comparing the CME program to traditional lecture format CME will be published in the next year. |
