In 2006 are conducting original research on neurostimulation. To view a discription of this research please click here.

We already have patients in practice who have had their neurostimulator for 10 years or more.

Our goal is to make sure that neurostimulation is the right treatment for our patients, to prepare our patients by making sure that they are ready for this advanced technology, and to provide unparalleled quality of care and attention to detail when it comes to the neurostimulation procedure itself. Finally, we spend whatever time it takes to help our patients get the best possible pain relief after the procedure is done, combining the stimulator with some or all of the following: rehabilitation, occupational and disability assessment, behavioral/psychological counselling, medications, and complementary medicine techniques.

IPCA has the only such complete, comprehensive neurostimulaton program available in the Southwestern United States. IPCA medical, behavioral, and occupational medicine team have combined with a specially trained neurosurgeon to provide the most complete evaluation, treatment, and follow-up program in the area. Our doctors have 20 years experience with several types of neurostimulation for pain contol , including spinal cord, peripheral, and deep brain. These are used to treat cases of back and leg pain, headache, groin pain, and other painful conditions when first line treatment has not worked out.
