If you have never been seen at IPCA we have a new patient coordinator to answer your questions about insurance, referrals and authorizations. Our new patient coordinator will assist you in getting to IPCA for evaluation and treatment of your pain.
- Dial 520-797-7246, and when the automated call management system answers -
- Ignore the prompts and enter extension "114". This will take you to IPCA's new patient coordinator line.
- If the new patient coordinator is on a another call, you may get the voicemail - if so, please leave a message with your name and phone number, and say that you are calling to make an appointment. We will call back within 48 hours.
For patients with HMO health insurance plans:
If you have an HMO health insurance plan, your insurance will require you to have a referring physician obtain prior authorization for your consult at IPCA. Please contact your primary care physician for help getting a referral to IPCA. HMO Insurance companies will not permit IPCA to obtain prior authorization for your first visit.
You can go around your insurance and pay for the first visit yourself if your health insurance plan is difficult to deal with. If you want to do this please call the IPCA new patient referral coordinator at the number above. We will provide information on visit fees by phone. Our fees are competitive.
