Kathy J. Davis ANP-C
Kathy J. Davis, RN, BSN, ANP-C. is an Adult Nurse Practitioner – Certified. She received her Diploma in nursing from Columbia Hospital College of Nursing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her Master of Science/Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Arizona. She holds advanced certification in Pain Management from the America Nurses Credentialling Center.
For the last 12 years she has worked in the area of pain management, and in a Family Practice clinic as a Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive training and experience across the entire pain Medicine spectrum: from medical management of painful illness to working with patients who are being treated with advanced pain therapies such as neurostimulators and intrathecal pumps. At IPCA she provides clinical care and patient education in all areas of pain management, and she continues to serve as the neurostimulation program coordinator.
As are all the IPCA staff, Nurse Practitioner Davis is actively involved in teaching and community service. She holds the title of Clinical Instructor at the University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, and in this role she participates with the other staff in introducing pharmacy students to the clinical side of pharmacotherapy for painful illnesses in the IPCA pain medicine clerkship. She is a founding board member of the Southern Arizona Advanced Practice/Nurse Practitioner Society, and a current member of American Society For Pain Management Nursing and the Pain Society of Southern Arizona.
