We are committed helping people get back to living the productive life they desire. Call now to find out more.
We tailor the treatment to the patient, and this simple concept is the key to our success. We treat subacute, straightforward pain problems quickly with the latest technology and best physical therapy. For those with more complex or persistent pain problems we succeed because of of our in-house medical and health psychology expertise, because of our completely unique care coordination program. Regardless of why you first come to see us, our relationship with you does not end with pain relief – we help you develop a plan to stay well.
Our health psychologist helps us understand you and meet you where you are in your life. Care coordination means that we engage and coordinate the efforts of the best medical, surgical, physical therapy, behavioral, and complementary/alternative medicine providers as needed and at the right time (provided you have been referred early). Then, our caring experts guide you through the healthcare decision-making process toward achievable, personalized outcomes. We remain patient-centered – we always hold your interests at the center of treatment planning and care coordination. Once you have met your goals, we help you learn how to stay well.
Our approach can be summarized this way: We do “whatever it takes to help our patients make the journey from illness to wellness, and stay well”.
Early referral to IPCA is the key to success in preventing chronic pain and restoring function. We urge our patients to visit with us before a painful condition becomes chronic. However, not everyone has had access to resources like IPCA early in the course of their injury or disease. If you are one of these people, our Chronic Pain Management Program has been developed to improve physical function, and to help you rely less on the healthcare system for support. Even if the severity of the pain sensations remains unchanged, we can help reduce the unwanted emotional, cognitive, and motivational effects of persistent chronic pain.
Find out why IPCA is the ONLY pain clinic in the State of Arizona to be awarded the American Pain Society Center of Excellence Award. Call to make an appointment now!
